

Huge funeral procession escorts steel remnant of 9/11 into town
YORK --
The cargo Friday morning was two tons of steel, the vehicle a flatbed truck. But this was no freight delivery.
On that truck that rumbled down busy Interstate 77, then jammed Cherry Road - escorted by 37 fire trucks and police cars and ambulances with lights flashing and sirens blaring - came likely the biggest, loudest, brightest funeral in York County history.
