Ft. Worth aquires structural column from the World Trade Center’s North Tower
The Ft. Worth Museum of Science & History has acquired a piece of history. A 6500-pound exterior structural column from the World Trade Center’s North Tower, which was destroyed during the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, will be added to the museum's permanent collection. The display will include details of the attacks and is scheduled to open on September 11, 2011, the ten-year anniversary.
